This position requires working both Saturday & Sunday, as well as days during the week.
This position includes helping restock items, as well as assisting with the prep of some food items.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain highest level possible of cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility, Take out trash as needed Sweep all debris from the floor and maintain the floor dry and free of spills Practice proper food handling procedures Attention to detail on areas of grease, grime, proper storage, stacking heights, chemical usage and storage, etc.
Assist with loading/unloading of miscellaneous equipment, such as boxes, food, and product Maintain the workstation in a neat and orderly fashion Comply with all safety and health department procedures Maintain company safety and sanitation standards Ensure complete and proper check out procedures Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately Help Set up workstations before meal prep begins Ensuse there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.
g.
detergents) and communicate to management when product is low Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor Handle tableware carely to prevent breakage and loss Monitor sanitization buckets Follow proper rules of hygiene and food safety measures SKILLS:
Work experience as a Dishwasher Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed Time management skills Attention to detail and sanitation rules Comfortable working in a fast-paced and loud environment 21
